Ntala’s journey in biathlon is distinguished by 102 World Cup starts and a World Cup Silver Medal, underscoring her commitment to excellence and athletic achievement.
After marrying Canadian Olympic Biathlete Kevin Quintilio, Ntala immigrated to Canada, where they co-founded the Crazy Mare Ranch Biathlon Club, coaching side by side. Her coaching philosophy focuses on building strong fundamentals, fostering a love for the sport, and instilling life skills through biathlon. Outside of coaching, she finds joy in hunting, fishing, gardening, quilting, and cheese-making. She also takes pride in creating custom Crazy Mare toques. These hobbies reflect her love for the outdoors and craftsmanship, bringing a balance to her life that fuels her passion for coaching.
Every day, Ntala is inspired by the resilience and passion of the athletes she coaches, and she is dedicated to helping them achieve their dreams, just as she has pursued hers. Her journey from the mountains of Wyoming and Idaho to the world stage of biathlon and then to Canada serves as a powerful testament to her dedication, skill, and unwavering commitment to the sport.
