Biathlon Alberta is inviting all members, born between 2007 & 2008 (Senior Girls/Boys) to apply to become a buddy of one of our current Biathlon Canada Senior National Team members!
For the 2023-24 season the following athletes have agreed to mentor 1 Biathlon Alberta athlete each:
Emma Lunder
Jenna Sherrington
Nadia Moser
Benita Peiffer
Adam Runnalls
Christian Gow
These athletes will be available to the chosen athletes for help and guidance and to share their experiences on how they made it to be one of Canada’s best biathletes. The goal is that initial in-person meetings will be planned (joint training) before the National Team athletes start their season in Europe. From there the communication would be mostly virtual but will continue throughout the season.
