By October 21, 2022No Comments

Biathlon Alberta is looking for NCCP certified coaches that are interested in working for Biathlon Alberta during the 2022-23 winter season to facilitate biathlon programs in cooperation with Spirit North. The programs will run during the week and during school hours.

Spirit North and Biathlon Alberta are looking to run biathlon specific programs in communities that Spirit North is already servicing with their winter program.

The programs will run as early as the end of November and up to the end of March.

The communities that are currently interested in the program are:

  • Enoch (Paul Band)
  • Caslan School
  • Wabasca
  • Kapawe’no
  • Sturgeon Lake
  • Tsuut’ina
  • Stoney Nakoda (Nakoda Elementary, Morley Community School and/or Canmore)
  • Fort Chipewyan

During the training eco-aims optical rifles will be used.

At this point we are looking for multiple coaches from all over Alberta that are interested in becoming a part of this program. The scheduling of these sessions is relatively flexible and can be discussed on a case-to-case base.

If you are interested in becoming a coach for this program, please fill out the google form HERE.
