Megan Bankes
Junior Women

Megan started cross-country skiing when she was 3 years old. At age 11 she decided she was looking for something more competitive, and a little different, so she decided to start biathlon. Since then, Megan has competed in biathlon provincially, nationally, and internationally. Originally from Calgary, AB, Megan now resides in Canmore, AB, and trains with the Biathlon Alberta Training Centre. In her spare time, Megan coaches young aspiring biathletes, enjoys baking tasty treats, and takes some post secondary courses.


Carsen Campbell
Senior Men
Hometown: Central Bedeque, PEI
Home Club: Biathlon PEI

Carsen started biathlon at the age of 12 in PEI, by 15 he was training seriously for the Canada Winter Games. At age 17 he qualified for his first of four Youth/Junior World Championships. When he was 18 he moved to Canmore and joined the Biathlon Alberta Training Centre to take advantage of training in Canmore and working with coach Richard Boruta. Richard and Petr have helped Carsen impove his shooting and his skiing has vastly improved under Kathy Davies. Carsen has spent the past three seasons on the IBU Cup and had his first World Cup start last year.

Trevor Kiers
Junior Men
Hometown: Sprucedale, ON
Home Club: Timmins Biathlon Club

Trevor grew up in a small town in Ontario on a hobby farm. He started biathlon through the cadets program and after National success in the cadet world made the switch to civilian biathlon. Trevor has been shooting from a young age as .22 calibre rifles were the method of choice for deterring predators from stealing his family’s livestock. Trevor is starting his third year as a biathlete at this level.


Nadia Moser

Home Club: Biathlon Yukon

Nadia grew up in a small community in Northern BC and moved to Whitehorse YT for high school in grade nine. She has been skiing since a very young age and started participating in biathlon at age 14. Upon graduating high school Nadia moved to Canmore to train full time with the Biathlon Alberta Training Centre.

Teo is 19 and has been racing biathlon since he was 12. Teo trains with the Biathlon Alberta Training Centre to ensure his maximum potential is being reached as an athlete.

Darya Sepandj started biathlon around the age of 9, she fell in love with the sport and has been doing it ever since! She also enjoys orienteering, climbing, making crafts and eating.
