RBC Training Ground – Recruitment Camps in Alberta

This is the second year of the initiative from RBC, in partnership with the CBC, the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), and the Canadian Olympic Foundation (COF), in the search for Canada’s next great Olympian.
Through RBC Training Ground, athletes will execute a series of workouts in front of various National/Provincial Sport Organizations, and their results will be measured against performance benchmarks to help identify those athletes who show the greatest potential.
RBC Training Ground tests consist of: vertical jump (power); 30m running sprint (speed); isometric mid-thigh pull (strength); and 20m multi-stage shuttle run (endurance).

In spite of short notice and cold temperatures you all came out and made the 2017 Canadian Biathlon Championships a resounding success. Without all of your efforts, it would not have happened and for that we thank you!
Team Alberta ended the week with 14 Gold medals, 9 Silver and 13 Bronze. You all played a big part in our success.
Enjoy the summer and mark the weekend of November 24 – 26, 2017 as the probable date of the first event next season. See you then.
