The Alberta Biathlon Club AGM will be held on May 2, 2018 at Winsport in the Bob Niven Training Centre Boardroom at 6:30pm.

Welcome Chris – New Head Coach of the Biathlon Alberta Training Centre

Biathlon Alberta is pleased to announce that Christopher (Chris) Halldorson has been named Head Coach for the Biathlon Alberta Training Centre. Chris will be taking over from Kathy Davies, who has guided the BATC through the 2017-2018 season after the tragic loss of Richard Boruta last summer. Davies will continue to provide coaching support to the BATC.

Alberta Biathlon Club is hosting a Canadian Firearms Safety Course – April 21-22, 2018

The Alberta Biathlon Club (ABC) is pleased to announce that it will again be offering the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) to all athletes and/or parents/guardians of athletes enrolled in a Biathlon program in Alberta. All athletes 12 years of age or older require the CFSC to obtain their Minor Firearms License or Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) in order to participate in the sport of Biathlon.

Nominations are now being accepted by Biathlon Canada for the Ruedi Setz, Myriam Bedard, June Hooper and Athlete and Coach of the year awards.
